The Esk Picnic Races

The Esk Picnic Races are enjoyed by 6000 racegoers every year. $40 will get you a Return Bus Ride to & from Esk (leaving from Brisbane City between 9am
& 10am Albert Park Wickham Tce Opposite the Albert Park Motor Inn). Free Entry to the Racecourse, ticket into our raffle for great prizes, entry into Fashions on the Field and entry to the Post Race Party (return to Bris around 6pm). 5 races running from lunchtime through to 4.30pm.
Patrons can bring their own eskys and food along
Fashions on the Field always proves very popular with the crowd. In the Formal Fashions category $500 in Harts Evening Wear Vouchers are up for grabs. Funny Fashions are enjoyed by many groups dressed up in crazy gear - in 2003 a group of "Reg Regans" took out the title and a carton of beer to share.
All funds raised on the day benefit the Mater Children's Hospital. ($10 Entry to the racecourse only tickets are also available)

On Sunday 20 June, the Mater Children's Hospital annual family event 5Ks for Kids, sponsored by Australia Post, will be held at South Bank Parklands.
